NanoDry Packable Shower Towel: How to Clean and Maintain

Quick Answer

Wash your NanoDry Packable Shower Towel in cold water with mild detergent, skip fabric softener, and air dry it flat to keep it fast-drying and absorbent.

Step-by-Step Cleaning Routine

1. Pre-rinse: Rinse the towel under cold running water to remove loose dirt and sweat before washing. A quick pre-rinse prevents dirt from setting into the fibers.
2. Wash with mild detergent: Use cold water and a small amount of mild, bleach-free detergent. Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle. Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets—they coat the nanofiber and reduce absorbency.
3. Rinse thoroughly: Rinse until the water runs clear to ensure no soap residue remains. Leftover detergent can attract dirt and slow drying.
4. Air dry flat: Lay the towel flat or hang it in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Do not machine dry. Air drying preserves the towel's shape and keeps it packable.
5. Store dry: Once fully dry, fold the towel and store it in its silicone case or a dry pouch. Storing a damp towel can cause mildew—always check it's completely dry.
